Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Brandin Cooks

Entering his fifth season in the NFL, Rams wide receiver Brandin Cooks has moved to his third team in such a short career. After being traded to the New England Patriots last offseason, the Patriots turned right back around and traded Cooks to the Rams this offseason.

The number of teams that Cooks has been a part of is not due to lack of production. Over the last three seasons, Cooks has topped 1,000 receiving yards each year and had seven or more touchdowns to go along with those yards. Now he enters an offense that looks to take another major step forward in the 2018 season.

With quarterback Jared Goff entering his third season in the NFL, Cooks could be what takes his game to another level. Last season the Rams traded for wide receiver Sammy Watkins late in the preseason, and he was unable to find a connection with Goff. The hope is that moving Cooks into that same role as Watkins held a year ago; the Rams can find that connection and over the top threat to push the offense to even bigger heights.
