Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans

I’m typically not as big of a fan of Mike Evans in the fantasy world as most analysts. While most of them have Evans being in the top seven, I couldn’t bring myself to put him that high. My reasons are that he has been inconsistent with his touchdowns during his four seasons having two seasons with twelve and two seasons with five or less.

There’s also the problem of starting quarterback Jameis Winston being suspended for the first three games due to violating the league’s personal conduct policy. He was accused of groping an Uber driver in Arizona back in March of 2016.

On the plus side, Evans has never failed at achieving 1,000 receiving yards during his NFL career. There’s also reason to believe that his touchdown totals will increase as Winston loves to throw his way in the red zone. Unfortunately, Evans was not able to bring many of those in last season as he was targeted 20 times and only brought in five.
