The Kansas City Chiefs have released two unofficial depth charts and played two preseason games. It’s time for round two of 53-man roster predictions.

As the preseason moves forward, it seems that the Kansas City Chiefs have more and more tough decisions to make when cutting down to their final 53-man roster in a couple of weeks. Between the performances during the first two preseason games and the unofficial depth charts, there are plenty of players that could surprise and make the roster for 2018.

This article will be the second of the 53-man roster prediction series as we did a prediction last week following the game against the Houston Texans. Looking at what we’ve seen so far, we will alter where those extra roster spots need to go and where the Chiefs can afford to cut some depth.

When Kansas City traveled to Atlanta to take on the Falcons on Friday night, we got to see more of the starting lineups. Playing mostly starters for three quarters, it left little time for some players to showcase why they should make the tail end of the final roster cut.

At the same time, given the lack of time at the back end for third and fourth string groups, Kansas City showed who they are looking at by moving players up with the second team on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Who made a strong case for why they should make this roster against Atlanta? Let’s take a look.
