FANTASY FOOTBALL ROOKIES TO TARGET: NUMBER 6 – NICK CHUBB

The Cleveland Browns are trying to get their offense going and they did so by drafting Baker Mayfield and Nick Chubb in the first two rounds. Chubb rushed for over 1,000 yards in three seasons during his Georgia days. He had 44 rushing touchdowns in his entire four-year career.

Nick Chubb will be a good option to add, but keep in mind that he will be behind Carlos Hyde on the running back depth chart. He’ll also be battling for playing time with Duke Johnson, which means Chubb won’t consistently be getting you solid points.

Instead, Chubb will be one of those fantasy players who has a tremendous game one week and then absolutely bombs the next. He’s worth drafting in the middle rounds and should be someone you can occasionally put into your FLEX spot.

Chubb might not get the amount of carries fantasy owners are hoping for, but he could become one of the Browns’ top red zone targets as a rookie. If he’s not scoring touchdowns, however, then Nick Chubb could be more of a bench player for your team.
