FANTASY FOOTBALL ROOKIES TO TARGET: NUMBER 7 – D.J. MOORE

The Carolina Panthers needed a wide receiver, so they were smart to draft D.J. Moore in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Moore was actually the first wideout taken in the draft and for good reason.

The Maryland product had 1,033 yards and eight touchdowns for the Terrapins last year. He attended a school that’s not really known for their football prowess, yet still was turning heads. Moore will be a welcomed addition to the Panthers depth chart and he honestly could have a legit shot at being the number two option in Carolina.

The Panthers have Devin Funchess as their top starter, but after that, their wide receiver depth chart is bleak. Christian McCaffrey is listed as a running back, but honestly fits the role of a wideout more so than a running back. Both of those guys, along with tight end Greg Olsen, will take targets away from the Maryland product.

Unlike a lot of the guys on this list, D.J. Moore will probably be the number two option and that makes him worthy of picking up in the earlier rounds. With how quickly wide receivers fly off the board in fantasy drafts, look to snatch D.J. Moore in the early to middle rounds.
