Fantasy Football: Top 15 Quarterbacks to draft in 2018

Cam Newton

Year after year Cam is high on the target list for fantasy quarterbacks. Year after year he disappoints. Yet, here we are.

He has yet to have his breakout season in my opinion. He hasn’t thrown for more yards than in his rookie season, and his turnover rate is quite high each season.

Newton looks so good at times that it’s hard to put him anywhere but near the top. He is substantially lower in the rankings here than at other sources, but the trend doesn’t show Cam as a top 5 fantasy quarterback.

The Panthers added Torrey Smith this offseason, which should be good for Cam. Apparently, his relationship with Kelvin Benjamin was never up to par. Newton has Greg Olsen, which is a quarterback’s best friend, and Christian McCaffrey can be a major target out of the backfield.
