JORDAN SMALLWOOD

Last, but not least, we have Jordan Smallwood, a rookie out of Oklahoma. Smallwood went undrafted and it’s not crazy to see why, as he had just ten receptions for 97 yards as a senior for the Sooners.

Smallwood didn’t play much in his four years at Oklahoma, appearing in nine games or less every year. He was targeted once on Thursday, but didn’t make the catch.

As far as long shots go, Smallwood is certainly in that category. They’ve already released and re-signed him once, so perhaps he’ll be the C.J. Spiller of 2018.

Maybe all it will take is an impressive game or two to make Jordan Smallwood a legitimate practice squad contender. Coming out of a school like Oklahoma is an advantage for Smallwood, but it won’t be easy for him to beat out some of the other guys on the roster.
