BLAKE MACK

Just a few weeks ago, Blake Mack was listed as a tight end on the Chiefs roster and I was excited for that possibility of him being a backup or third string to Travis Kelce. Now, however, he’s listed with the wide receivers and that hurts his chances of making the team honestly.

Mack was an under the radar name for me out of training camp two weeks ago, as he was consistently part of the action. He’s a rookie of Arkansas State and spent the first two years there as a receiver and the last two as a tight end.

Mack had 1,505 yards and 11 touchdowns throughout four years and while I liked him more in the tight end role, he could still make noise as a receiver. Unfortunately his first preseason game was nothing to write home about, as he was targeted just once and didn’t haul in the pass.

Blake Mack is another guy who needs to step it up in these next few games if he wants to remain with the team.
