JOSH CROCKETT

There isn’t a lot of information on Josh Crockett out there, so this will be a shorter entry. Crockett is a rookie out of Central Oklahoma, a Division II school in the MIAA conference.

Crockett played in 12 games for the Bronchos (yes, that’s spelled correctly) last year and hauled in 758 yards with eight touchdowns, according to Central Oklahoma football’s official website. While it’d be a nice story to see a Division II wideout make it with the Chiefs, Crockett’s chances aren’t likely. He was targeted once on Thursday and did not make the catch.

We’ve seen Division II athletes come into the NFL and make a name for themselves plenty of times (Delanie Walker is a good local example, hailing from Central Missouri), but it’s a much tougher climb for them for sure. The Chiefs took a chance on Crockett, but we likely won’t see much more of him.
