Fantasy football season is inching closer and some drafts might already be underway. Who are the top 15 sleepers to target this year for your fantasy team?

Everyone is always looking for that next great sleeper pick in fantasy football. Whether you draft a guy thinking, “Ha… He’ll be my sleeper!” or just fall into it, sleepers can end up going from zeroes to heroes for your team rather quickly.

Last year Sammy Watkins was a good example of a sleeper. He had been traded from Buffalo to Los Angeles after failing to live up to the hype and did pretty well for the Rams, especially in the red zone.

While Watkins won’t make the list this year, there are plenty of other sleepers to keep an eye on for the 2018 fantasy football season. Let’s take a look at the top15 to target this year.

FANTASY FOOTBALL SLEEPERS TO TARGET: NUMBER 15 – REX BURKHEAD

Rex Burkhead‘s stats weren’t mind blowing last year, but he’s worth taking a shot on, especially in the later rounds. Where Burkhead made his presence known for fantasy owners last year was in the red zone, as he racked up five rushing touchdowns and three receiving scores, making him a legitimate scoring threat.

Burkhead only had 264 yards rushing and 254 yards receiving, but proved he could be utilized both on the ground and through the air. Those who need a late round utility guy should take a shot on Burkhead because of his versatility.

While the Patriots drafted Sony Michel early on, Burkhead is going to get an opportunity in the red zone and the former Husker is someone that fantasy owners will be wondering how they got on their team.
