#8 Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen

Greg Olsen is an interesting product coming into the 2018 season. Known as one of the leagues top tight ends, Olsen is coming off a season where he was plagued with foot injuries. He also turned 33 this offseason which could be another concern as he gets older and coming off an injury-plagued season.

Last season Olsen put up career lows with only 17 receptions for 191 yards and a single score. While missing nine games, he was almost non-existent when he was on the field for the Panthers last year.

Given his age and injuries, Olsen is likely to be still a top ten tight end in the league, but not the top five that he once was. He’s still expected to be a prime target for quarterback Cam Newton in 2018 if he can stay on the field.

When coming back from injury last in the year, Olsen showed some reasons to be optimistic as he posted eight receptions for 107 yards and a touchdown in the loss to the Saints in the playoffs. If Olsen is back and can stay healthy, expect some more games like the one against the Saints.
