#3 Philadephia Eagles TE Zach Ertz

Last season was a breakout season that Zach Ertz has been longing for since joining the Eagles in 2013. His third season putting up more than 800 yards, Ertz finally broke open the ceiling by doubling his career high in touchdowns with eight last season.

Ertz was an enormous threat inside the red zone last year catching 11 of his 17 targets. Seven of his eight touchdowns came inside the red zone. He has proven his elite production with quarterback Carson Wentz over the last two seasons and looks to continue that in 2018.

Wentz is coming back from a season ending injury after being in the hunt for MVP last year. Even with Wentz down, the Eagles were able to win the Super Bowl with backup quarterback Nick Foles. With both quarterbacks returning for the 2018 season, it’s clear that drafting Ertz would bring great production to any teams tight end position in Fantasy Football.

Despite missing two games, Ertz caught 74 passes for 824 yards and eight touchdowns. He likely would have surpassed the 1,000-yard mark last year if he would have been healthy for 16 games. Another season like 2017 and Ertz could find himself in the talk of elite talent that Travis Kelce and Rob Gronkowski currently hold.
