#5 New York Giants TE Even Engram

The New York Giants were an absolute disaster a season ago losing all three of their top wide receivers early on in the season. One player that had a great season in an otherwise putrid offense was tight end, Evan Engram. During his rookie season with the Giants in 2017, Engram posted 64 catches for 722 yards and six scores.

Engram ranked second last season among tight ends in targets with 115. Given the return of wide receiver Odell Beckham, Engram will likely see a lower number of targets in 2018. However, he could easily be the number two receiving option for Giants quarterback Eli Manning.

With the amount of attention that Beckham will draw away, Engram will have more opportunities to get open in the middle of the field. His rookie campaign was excellent, especially given the struggles of the Giants offense. Having some more weapons on the offense allows Engram more opportunities to have favorable matchups.

After being the primary target for defenses to watch in 2017 as a rookie, Engram shined with extra attention. Now that the attention will be heavily on Beckham, it brings no question that Graham will improve his numbers from his rookie campaign. Expect a great season from Engram as the Giants try and get back to playoff contenders in 2018.
