Fantasy Football Top 10 D/ST

#4 Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings are on the cusp of being a powerhouse team. The defense can take just as much credit if not more for their recent success.

Xavier Rhodes and Harrison Smith are both at the top of their game. They alone make the secondary quite an obstacle. Sheldon Richardson is a monster on the defensive line, and the no-name linebacker group is severely underrated.

2017 ranking: 11th

The Vikings led the league in yards allowed and points against but still managed to only finish 11th in fantasy rankings. This goes back to the translation between good defenses and good fantasy defenses.

Last season the Vikings were a mid-tier defense in every other category than the two they led. There was also only one single defensive touchdown scored by the Vikes. Being ranked No.4 is a perfect compliment to the direction this squad is headed.
