GAMES KANSAS FOOTBALL CAN WIN IN 2018 – RUTGERS

When it comes to riveting football games in 2018, Kansas vs Rutgers isn’t going to make that list. Fans of either of these teams haven’t had much to root about lately, as the Jayhawks are always in the basement of the Big 12 and the Scarlet Knights are normally in the cellar of the Big Ten.

These two teams have shockingly only played once and it came back in 2015, a game in which the Scarlet Knights won. Rutgers is not a good team, but neither is Kansas, so this really is anyone’s game.

I almost witnessed Rutgers knocking off Nebraska last year in Lincoln, so while the Scarlet Knights aren’t a great team, they have some fight in them. We’ve seen that in the Jayhawks too over the years, but unfortunately wins just haven’t come for either team.

This game will take place in Lawrence, which will work in KU’s favor. Hopefully the Jayhawks will be at least 1-1 at this point of the season and can get a second win. Going 2-1 in non-conference play would probably be enough for David Beaty to keep his job for the entirety of the season.
