Kansas City Chiefs: Best games of Patrick Mahomes’ collegiate career
BEST GAMES OF MAHOMES’ COLLEGIATE CAREER – NUMBER 2
TEXAS TECH VS BAYLOR – NOVEMBER 25, 2016
I debated putting this one at number one, but ultimately, even with this being a victory for Texas Tech, it came in at number two all-time for Mahomes’ best college games. He threw for nearly 600 yards in this game with six touchdowns and no interceptions.
Five of the six touchdowns were for 35+ yards and for most other college quarterbacks, this would have been the game of their career. Not Mahomes though.
No, somehow a 586 yard passing performance with six touchdowns against a Division I opponent wasn’t the best game of Mahomes’ TTU career. We’ll get to his best game in a bit, but more on this one.
Texas Tech dominated Baylor in this one winning 54-35 and burying the opposition by half time. It was a late season game and TTU had a losing record, even with the win, but it wasn’t because of Mahomes. He was quite the sensation during his time as a Red Raider and Chiefs fans should be stoked to have this kid on their team.
