Kansas Basketball will devour the opposition in 2018-19

So the roster is built up of fast, physical guys that can shoot, defend, and maybe more importantly, run. The schedule is made up of tough opponents that the Jayhawks could face down the road, but no roster has the depth that Kansas does. Not in talent, not with experience.

The toughest opponent the Jayhawks will face all season may be right there in the state of Kansas. The Wildcats of Kansas State are virtually bringing everybody back from last year’s team that made their own deep run in the tournament. Facing the Wildcats twice, possibly a third time in the Big12 tournament could be the highest hurdle the Jayhawks need to jump.

No disrespect to any of the Jayhawks foes this year, but I personally do not see a team that can run with Kansas, especially when substitutions will be coming at a rapid pace. The first five off the bench can give each of these teams a run for their money, if not win it by themselves.

There are still question marks as to how well Kansas can shoot from the perimeter this year, but chances are with as many weapons as they have, open shots will be available, no matter who they are playing.

Anything less than a National Championship will be a failure. This bold prediction comes to you through the eyes of a man that looks at this upcoming season as it is. It’s Kansas’ for the taking. The Jayhawks should be the favorites to win each game they play this year, something their Final Four squad from a year ago didn’t have the pleasure of.

The Kansas Jayhawks will win the whole thing this year, everyone else is playing for 2nd place. If they are going to be the favorites in each game, they should, by all rights, win them. All of them.
