As the 2018 season came to a close, there were currently 15 former Kansas Basketball players on NBA rosters. This list is made up of the best.

Over the years, Kansas Basketball has sent a large number of players to the next level. From legends such as Wilt Chamberlain to role players like Cole Aldrich. It seems like every single year more Jayhawks are being drafted, and this season there is a good chance that three more will hear their names called on draft day.

The NBA is a crapshoot. It doesn’t care how good you were in high school, it doesn’t seem to matter how great you were in college. The transition can be smooth like butter or a rough and tough road to nowhere. Kansas Basketball has its share of quality players spread throughout the league.

This list is comprised of the very best Jayhawks currently playing in the NBA. Pure stats are taken into consideration, as well as overall team performance, playing time, and popularity.

Granted, there are certain Jayhawks who have yet to reach their peak performance that would make this list in three or four years, so don’t get discouraged if your favorite Jayhawk didn’t make the cut.

The players chosen have been carefully selected and by the end of this list, most of the readers will probably agree with the content within. These are the best that Kansas basketball has offered.
