No.4 seemed to have played a decade for Kansas Basketball

No. 4 Perry Ellis

How many seasons did Perry Ellis play for the Kansas Jayhawks? Only four, but he made such an impact it seemed like he was there forever.

Perry Ellis was a force to be reckoned with. He had the length down low to cause fits on both sides of the ball. Perry could shoot from the outside, slam it home, and had a hook shot we only dream about having.

Perry ended his career ranked 8th all-time at Kansas in scoring with 1,798 points and 12th in rebounding with 834. His senior year in 2016 he managed 16.9 points per game with 222 rebounds. He was a Wooden Award Finalist and was a consensus 2nd team All-American.

He also made the All Big 12 third team in 2014, along with making the first team in 2015 and 2016.

Ellis is one of the all-time favorite Jayhawks to have ever played the game.

Perry was a leader on and off the court, with the will and determination to lead his team each and every game. Bar none one of the best Jayhawks to ever play, he will go down in history.

Although his NBA career has yet to blossom, he is still one of the hardest workers out there. He set fine examples of what it takes to make it in college basketball.
