Hustle Robinson is next on the list of top seniors under Bill Self

No. 7 Russell Robinson

Russell Robinson was a stud during his time at Kansas. His work ethic and hustle have been nearly unmatched. Robinson was the gym rat of all gym rats.

Russell was named to two Big 12 All-Defense teams, as he remains one of the best defenders coach Self ever coached. He was another vital component to the 2008 National Championship team.

Robinson ended his career with 948 points, 500 assists, 347 rebounds, and 247 steals.

Each and every game Russ gave 100%. Time after time he came up with big stops against some highly talented opposition. He never had to be the man, but each time he was called upon he came through.

What he did on the defensive side alone puts him in the middle of this list. Perhaps no other player gave Bill Self as much as he did without the national exposure.

Russ makes this list as one of the best all-around players Bill Self has ever coached. Winning the Championship in 2008 was a perfect ending for Robinson. He is also one of the best players that will never have his jersey hung up in the rafters at Allen Fieldhouse due to requirements.
