Kansas City Chiefs: Five things to look forward to during the 2018 season
By Kyle Hull
1) The New Faces who will likely start
Veach added plenty of new names to the roster that change the formula of this team more than you may think. Veach added a name via trade, a few names during free agency, and also of course those who were selected in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Kendall Fuller
Kendall Fuller came over from the Washington Redskins along with a third round draft pick, for quarterback Alex Smith. If I were a Redskins fan, that move may send me over the edge with the organization.
According to PPF, Fuller was the highest-rated Redskin last season, as well as a top-five cornerback in the NFL. Consider this move a steal for the Kansas City Chiefs, because, quite frankly there is no other way to explain it.
Fuller brings depth to the stagnant cornerback depth chart. He also gives the Chiefs a tiny bit of breathing room in the secondary. However, there is still work needing to be done.
My level of excitement for Fuller: 9/10
Anthony Hitchens
According to Veach, Anthony Hitchens was one of the highest players on his free agency radar. When Veach had the chance to pay Hitchens, he did just that. Veach gave the former Dallas Cowboy a 5-year $45 million dollar contract – I would probably take that money too.
Hitchens is an explosive inside linebacker, which helps fill the void from losing veteran Derrick Johnson, who is now a Oakland Raider *shivers in disgust* . Hitchens is perhaps one of the best young downhill linebacker, aside from his new teammate Reggie Ragland.
The young linebacker may be getting paid a ton, but I have a feeling it is going to work out just fine. Watch for him to have a great season for the Chiefs, as well as stick around in Chiefs Kingdom for a long time.
My level of excitement for Hitchens: 7/10
