The Kansas City Chiefs enter a new era in their organization. This instantly creates more and more hype for September to roll around as “new” is becoming the new norm.

Alex Smith: Gone. Derrick Johnson: Gone. Marcus Peters: Gone. Tamba Hali: you guessed it – gone. Obviously the 2018 season for the Kansas City Chiefs looks totally different from what Chiefs Kingdom truly knows the best.

However, for the fans who are tired of watching the organization hit a brick wall, this 2018 season is the start of something new. A breath of fresh air, if you will.

This upcoming season brings so many new deliverables. There are new faces, new leaders, and, of course the feeling of “there is something missing”. But, keep in mind, we are talking about the team who could not get past the Divisional Round in the playoffs.

General manager Brett Veach created a new formula of his own, as well as maintaining a reasonable amount of the core players on the roster. With that thought in mind, this is one of the most highly anticipated seasons that the Kansas City Chiefs have had for quite some time.

So with that being said, let’s buckle up and take a look at some things that might help you get excited for this season. Time to dive in.
