NUMBER 12: BRADY QUINN

2012

Remember when Brady Quinn was a Chief? If you don’t remember, nobody would blame you because that 2012 season was awful and we should all try to forget that it ever existed.

Quinn was brought on prior to the 2012 season to backup Matt Cassel. When Cassel was injured/performed poorly, Chiefs fans were more than okay with bringing Quinn into the action. That’s when you know your season is going poorly… when the fans want BRADY QUINN taking snaps.

Anyway, Quinn started eight games for Kansas City and was not good. He threw for 1,141 yards, two touchdowns, and eight interceptions and won just one game under center for the Chiefs. In the season finale against the Broncos, Quinn completed just seven passes (with 16 attempts) for 49 yards. The Chiefs lost that game 38-3 in case you were wondering what the outcome was.

That 2012 season ended up being Quinn’s final year in the NFL. It was a terrible year for the Chiefs and the fans, but having Quinn start eight games was not something any fan base should have to experience.

At least he made great commercials though, right?
