The Kansas City Chiefs have been dominant in division play

It has to be hard to pick a team to win this division when there is a team they haven’t been able to beat for years. Maybe it isn’t that hard. The Chiefs have had very little problems from their division rivals in recent years, and that doesn’t look to change this season either.

The Chiefs have won eight consecutive games against everyone’s favorite, the Chargers. Eight straight games, four at home and four at their place. For whatever reason, the Chargers have been unable to find a win against Kansas City.

The Broncos streak of seven wins in a row against the Chiefs ended on November 15th, 2015. Since that loss, the Broncos have lost five straight including Mahomes first professional game during week 17 of last season.

The Chiefs and Raiders rivalry is legit, and probably the most entertaining rivalry within the division. The Chiefs had won five straight before last October, when the Raiders were able to steal one at Oakland. Still, the Chiefs have won eight of ten games against the Raiders.

The Chiefs have rarely been picked the favorite in the division for years, yet they continue to beat the tar off of them season after season.
