 Good work, Brett Veach

Veach did a remarkable job adding toughness and versatility to the Kansas City Chiefs roster. There is no doubt that the defense lacked toughness, and competitiveness in some positions.

This draft class should be something special, however, you will need to wait on it. Consider this draft class a project, as each of the six players are incredibly raw.

Veach ended his first draft as a general manager with six really good, and exciting football players. Some say he had an awful, or a below-par draft. But, in my opinion you are not giving these players a chance.

Veach, and his scouting staff spend hours a day studying these players. Veach likely knows how many hairs are on the player’s head, and how many times they have watched the movie Tarzan (or not).

You need to trust Veach, and his talent evaluations, and let these players get their opportunity to shine in their own way. 2018 is going to be rough for the defense, but for the years to come, thanks to this draft class, it will shape up to be one of the most competitive defenses in the NFL.
