KAREEM HUNT

Kareem Hunt is definitely a lock to make the roster. Not only can he run, but he can catch and run with the ball too and is hard to bring down after contact. After grabbing the NFL rushing title with 1327 yards as a rookie it’s hard to imagine any team letting a player like this go with such a bright future ahead.

Hunt was drafted last year to be the backup to Spencer Ware, but after showing what he could do week after week, there’s no doubt that the Chiefs offense will be hoping Hunt can duplicate his success in year two.

Even with so much competition on the depth chart, the only way Hunt won’t be suiting up for the first game of the season is if there’s an injury (knock on wood, please). Otherwise, he’s the unquestioned starting running back for the Kansas City Chiefs this year.

Let’s move on to the running backs who could actually be cut.
