Zach Harvey

Zach Harvey is a 6’4″ shooting guard out of Topeka, Kansas. He is currently a top 50 player in the country and is considered to be the 4th best shooting guard in the country.

Harvey is the second home-grown player on this list. There is an added quality in the recruitment process when a local kid stays home for the school he followed all their life.

Although he may not be a household name as of yet, he has NBA potential. There are few things he can’t do on the basketball court, often making those facing him look like lesser beings just living in his world.

If Harvey can keep the momentum going, he will move up the rankings as colleges across the nation fight for his rights.

He seems to glide on his way to the rim, having a hang time that is admirable, to say the least. Zach doesn’t have the looks of a guy that would typically bring the ball up the court for Bill Self, but he does fit the mold of a go-to guy when the ball crosses half court.

He can shoot from beyond the arc with ease to go with his acrobat style when close to the rim. Harvey is a complete guard that plays with confidence. He should see playing time early even if he doesn’t see the starting lineup, which should take him a year or two. The Kansas Jayhawks will be lucky to get this guy, he will be a fan favorite as well.
