The back-ups – Chad Henne, Matt McGloin, Chase Litton

After the departure of Smith, and Tyler Bray, the quarterback depth chart took a turn. Veach and company created a red-flag for the organization – Mahomes was the only quarterback on the roster.

Veach went to work during the offseason to fill the void. He added veterans Henne, and McGloin, as well as signing rookie quarterback Chase Litton.

Chad Henne

First off, before we dive into all of the predictions, and the “what-ifs”, let me provide you some nerdy, but important statistics about each of the quarterbacks not named Patrick Mahomes.

Chad Henne, a Michigan Wolverine alum, has been a member of the NFL for ten seasons, going on eleven. At 32-years old, Henne still managed to find himself as a part of another NFL organization.

Henne has delivered his services to three different teams: The Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, and as of now, the Kansas City Chiefs.

During his careers with the Dolphins, and the Jaguars, Henne managed to have 1,159 passing completions, 12,931 passing yards, with 58 touchdowns, and 63 interceptions.
