NUMBER 6: ERIC BERRY

While some might be shocked to see beloved Eric Berry on this list, hear me out. Berry is a phenomenal safety in the NFL, we all know that. He was given his six-year contract extension in 2017 because of that fact.

After a year in which Berry missed nearly the entire season, however, yes, he has to have a good season. Berry is earning $78 million for this six-year contract and after inking that deal, he played one game.

Berry is arguably the best safety in the game, but if he doesn’t come back in 2018 looking like the Eric Berry we all knew and loved in 2016, then Chiefs fans aren’t going to be patient with the former fifth overall pick. He’s shown he can bounce back from injuries and illness before, so a ruptured Achilles shouldn’t be able to stop Berry from getting back to his true form.

With all of that said, however, Berry still needs to play well in 2018 or that’s a lot of money being given out for the production not to back it up.
