NUMBER 7: MITCH MORSE

The problem with Mitch Morse isn’t necessarily his play at center, it’s more of the fact that the guy can’t stay healthy. He’s had concussions throughout his career and last year appeared in just seven games.

Morse is definitely more safe now than he was before, as Zach Fulton, his backup, signed with the Texans this offseason. The Chiefs might have reached on Morse when they drafted him, but he looked solid in his first season. Since then, he’s been okay, but the Chiefs could still be looking to move on from him in the near future.

While they didn’t find their potential Morse replacement in the draft, next year could be a different story. If that’s the case, then Mitch Morse needs to stay healthy and be flawless at center in 2018. That might lead to him getting a contract extension and making him the Chiefs center for a few more years.
