DENVER BRONCOS – BRADLEY CHUBB (5TH OVERALL PICK)

There was word before the draft even commenced that the Broncos could be trading up to the second overall pick. Instead, the Giants stayed put there and grabbed Saquon Barkley. The Broncos remained at number five and are probably thrilled they did, as they came away with Bradley Chubb.

The Browns opted to go with Denzel Ward at number four overall (typical John Dorsey to go against the crowd) and that left Chubb there for the taking. The selection of Chubb gives the Broncos a deadly pass rushing combination, but it also means they’re sticking with Case Keenum at quarterback for the next year. That second part is good news for Chiefs fans.

Bradley Chubb was arguably the best player in this year’s draft and the Broncos landed him at number five overall rather than reach on a quarterback. This was a really good selection for them and Broncos fans have to be stoked.

The Chiefs better get their offensive line shored up because now Denver has both Bradley Chubb and Von Miller. Yikes.
