Fast, with a great set of tools, Rashaan Evans spent time as an edge guy for Alabama in 2017, but NFL teams see him as a physical inside guy who won’t get lost in coverage. He’ll be a nice fit for a Titans team who could use some help when it comes to stopping the run.
Staff Reaction: The Titans are thrilled to beef up their defense with one of the top two or three MLB prospects in the draft. Evans is a typical MLB from a long line of them coming out of Alabama.
A great tackler, solid in coverage and pass rush experience makes him the total package for a top of the line prospect. The Titans feel like they got a steal when he fell to them. – Britt Zank
