2018 NFL Draft: KC Kingdom Mock Draft
New England Patriots – Britt Zank
Outside Linebacker. Ohio State. Sam Hubbard. 23. player. 47.
This pick maybe a bit of a reach for the Patriots at pick 23, but they won’t take the chance of missing out on him. Sam Hubbard is the perfect Patriot; a player who isn’t elite talent yet finds a way to always be the best player on the field.
He will be a defensive end with a motor that won’t quit. Hubbard is a player without elite talent who still plays at an elite level who is coachable and wants to prove everyone wrong. If that doesn’t sound like a Bill Belichick type player than I don’t know who does.
Staff Reaction: The Patriots probably could have gotten Hubbard later on, but any time a team can add a pass rushing talent to their ranks, they should take advantage for sure. – Chris Taylor
