2018 NFL Draft: KC Kingdom Mock Draft

Dallas Cowboys – Leigh Oleszczak

123. . Wide Receiver. Maryland. D.J. Moore. 19. player

With the release of Dez Bryant, the Cowboys need to add weapons for Dak Prescott. D.J. Moore is one of the best receiver prospects in the draft and one would have to think that Cowboy fans would be thrilled to see their team go this route.

With Moore, the Cowboys get their Dez Bryant replacement and Moore goes to a playoff contending team. Seems to be a win for both the Cowboys and for D.J. Moore.

Staff Reaction: The Cowboys are so desperate to get past Dez Bryant that they reach for his replacement here. Moore is seen by most as a second round pick due his lack of height and inconsistency catching the ball.

Anytime a question mark on a receiver is his consistency catching the ball I tend to stay away. He’s a physical receiver who runs good routes and is a dependable blocker. If he can catch the ball he’ll be a good player, but his catching issues make him a questionable pick in round one. – Britt Zank
