2018 NFL Draft: KC Kingdom Mock Draft

Los Angeles Chargers – Chris Taylor

Tremaine Edmunds. 15. player. 13. . Inside Linebacker. Virginia Tech

Los Angeles had their sights set on a player and they were determined to get him, so when Tremaine Edmunds was still on the board at 15th overall, they ran to request a trade with the Cardinals.

The Chargers find this trade to be good for them and add another solid defensive piece to their already stacked defense. Edmunds had five and a half sacks last year along with 108 tackles. He’ll be the perfection addition to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Staff Reaction: The Chargers are getting a solid player at a position of need with Edmonds at middle linebacker. He’s a great tackler with a nose for the ball, who is also good in coverage.

He’s not a pass rusher of any kind, but the Chargers have enough of that. I’m not sure if he’s worth the trade to move up just two spots, but they get the guy they want so it was a fair price for that. – Britt Zank
