DogFather Specialty Hot Dogs

Perhaps nothing is more iconic in any baseball stadium than the hot dog. While hot dogs have been available at Kauffman since its inception, DogFather is the dawn of a new dog era for diamond devotees.

At Aramark’s “Mason Jars” inside Kauffman Stadium, four different DogFather “mafia-inspired” varieties will be offered to consumers. The “Made Man” comes with yellow mustard, sweet relish and chopped onions for fans of classic dogs. “Teflon Don” features the same yellow mustard and chopped onions but adds chili, jalapeños and parsley.

The “Sweet Tooth Lucky” adds sweet beans and maple pepper bacon to yellow mustard, chopped onion and parsley. Finally, the “KC Boss” makes it debut with mac and cheese, sweet barbecue sauce, maple pepper bacon and parsley.

Moving on a culinary journey from Mason Jars to “Rivals,” the in-stadium sports bar which has seen thousands of fans during hundreds of Royals games. No Royals fan will ever feel like a fish out of water there, but this new menu item is a delicious example of that phrase.
