Yes, the Kansas Basketball Jayhawks should be considered the favorites. No, that doesn’t mean they will win it all, but they should. Bill Self’s Kansas team fits with this season’s tournament trend, upsets and unexpected. The Jayhawks were not considered a threat to win the title this season, but like so many other teams still dancing, here they are.

There have been numerous takes on this season’s Jayhawks. Many say they aren’t deep enough. Some suggest they aren’t big enough. You may have heard they can’t win without Devonte’ Graham playing great or that they’re too one-dimensional.

So far this tournament has shown that Kansas has the ability to overcome all these issues and answer any doubts. Even with such a short bench, Kansas may be the most complete team left in the Big Dance. Here me out.
