Kansas Basketball: Get to know potential opponents in round of 64
By Chris Taylor
Kansas Basketball now knows the path they must take to get to the final four. Here we will look at the potential opponents they may face this weekend.
The 2018 season hasn’t been all warm and fuzzy for Kansas Basketball as it has in years past. It was not an easy journey to get here. Bill Self and his Kansas Jayhawks found a way however, winners of the Big12 regular season and the Big 12 tournament has them as the 1 seed in the Midwest.
The Midwest is loaded with talented rosters. Historic teams such as Duke and Michigan State are lingering, as well as a couple Big 12 schools in TCU and Oklahoma. To get to any of those schools the Jayhawks must first get through their half of the bracket.
The Jayhawks of course know who they play first, that would be Penn. As long as they avoid history and make it out of that game, they will face either Seton Hall or North Carolina State.
In the forthcoming segments, we will take a look at each of those opponents.
