ALL-TIME LEADERS IN RUSHING YARDS – NUMBER 12: DAHRRAN DIEDRICK (2,745)

Nebraska Running Back from 1999-2002

Dahrran Diedrick spent four years in Lincoln, where he racked up 2,745 yards off of 502 carries and found the end zone 26 times. His best season came in 2001, where he carried the football 233 times for a total of 1,299 yards and an astounding 15 touchdowns!

Nebraska would go 11-2 that year and lose in the Rose Bowl, but it’s hard to forget about Diedrick’s dominating season. While his numbers would drop off as a senior in 2002, he still had 931 yards on the ground and six rushing touchdowns.

Diedrick wouldn’t do much in the NFL, but he actually is still playing in the Canadian Football League as a member of the Montreal Alouettes. Yes, at the age of 39, Dahrran Diedrick is still playing professional football.

That right there proves how much of a bad ass Dahrran Diedrick truly was. He’s 12th all-time in rushing yards for Nebraska football.
