The Kansas City Chiefs are set to send Marcus Peters to Los Angeles. Fans have been uneasy with the move, which brings the question in the title.
The origin of the question comes from the suggestion that the Kansas City Chiefs are now rebuilding after agreeing to send Peters, a corner, to the Rams. The majority of fans along with the media are having a difficult time seeing any success coming the Chiefs way any time soon.
As unpopular a move as it may be, it shouldn’t necessarily be a dagger in next seasons heart. The trade of Peters no doubt leaves a giant void and need on the defensive side of the ball. As Peters walks away, Eric Berry returns.
During week one against the Patriots in 2017, Eric Berry went down with a season ending injury. At the time, it was assumed that the loss of Berry would be huge. Those assumptions were obviously correct. Berry after all, is one of the top safeties in the game that is getting better with age.
Below is a poll asking this very question. Who is more valuable?
Who's more valuable to the Chiefs? Marcus Peters or Eric Berry?

There is no doubt the defense would have benefited from having Berry on the field. The same can be said about Peters. Fans aren’t wrong about their concerns with the absence of Peters, but does it mean the Chiefs will be unable to find success without him?
In order to find out, let’s delve into the question of which player is more valuable to the Chiefs. The Chiefs have already played a season without Berry, and are about to enter a season without Peters.
