FREE AGENT WISH LIST IN 2018 – LANCE LYNN (STARTING PITCHER)

Yeah, this one isn’t happening, but it’s a wish list for a reason. Lance Lynn had a tremendous season in 2017 with the Cardinals and it’d be great to have him in the Royals rotation in 2018.

Lynn pitched in 33 games, posting an 11-8 record, 3.43 ERA, and had 153 strikeouts. It’s surprising to still see him on the open market, but at the same time, that’s just been how this offseason has appeared to be going.

The Royals were rumored to be in the market for another starter, but it’s doubtful Lynn would be on their list of targets. He’ll be one of the more expensive arms out there and honestly… The Royals actually appear to have plenty of options for their rotation.

It’s never a bad thing to have too many pitchers though and that’s why it’d be cool if the Kansas City Royals would bring in Lance Lynn. He’d instantly compete for either the first or second spot in the rotation.
