The Kansas Basketball program is among the most prestigious programs in all of sports. Let’s take a look at the best seasons the Jayhawks have had so far.

The Kansas Basketball program is known for many things, above all else, the Jayhawks are known for winning. Most recently the streak of thirteen consecutive conference titles come to mind first, but Kansas has been winning for well over a century.

The program itself has only had seven coaches since Dr. Naismith, the inventor of the game, became Kansas’ first head coach. No team has seen as few head coaches.

The Jayhawks are 2nd in all-time wins, behind Kentucky. They rank 1st in consecutive weeks ranked, seasons with a winning record, non-losing record, consecutive 30 win seasons, consensus 1st team all-Americans and conference titles. The list goes on and on, but in the end, it is all about winning.

Kansas Basketball has had a winning record in each decade since it’s basketball existence in 1898. Allen Field House is the loudest basketball arena in the world. The fans, especially the student section, is as rowdy a group as any. the building haunts with history. The town of Lawrence has embraced the Jayhawks as its own child.
