5 reasons the Chiefs will be better in 2018

#2 Eric Berry returns

Yes, his return will make a dynamic difference because he makes a dynamic difference on the field. Not one player is more valuable to their team than Eric Berry might be to the Chiefs defense.

What Berry means to his teammates was showcased on the sidelines toward the end of the 2017 season. The defense not only played better with Berry near, but they played with an attitude, with pride.

It has already been spoken by Chiefs players about how much they want to play hard for Berry. Scared to disappoint him.

This may be a bold statement, but with Berry on the field the Chiefs chances of winning might go up 25%. He makes everyone around him better, on both sides of the ball. He also becomes that other guy opposing offenses have to worry about.
