It still hurts

The 5 hour drive home was rough. I felt angry, I felt discouraged, and I felt confused. Things did not make sense. How does a team find a way to destroy their great first half, and stink it up so bad in the second half? What other organization, than the Kansas City Chiefs would do such a thing?

I know it sounds like I am writing in my personal diary, but I am a blogger, and I have this opportunity. Trust me, I wish I was writing up an article about how good the Chiefs look, and how the Super Bowl threat is real.

Here I am though, writing an article about how I watched such a deflating NFL game as a Chiefs fan, at Arrowhead Stadium. I was extremely happy to see a playoff game live, but I am not happy with the results.

I am a die-hard fan, and I would give my right leg to see the Chiefs make it to the Super Bowl this season. The franchise is due for a deep playoff run. But, the franchise needs to lift their playoff curse first. This curse has been around long enough, and should go over to Foxboro to see the damage it can do over there, or something.

I wish I was going to end this article on a good note, but I cannot find the right words. There is no more reasons to be okay with how the season ended. Something needs to happen in the playoffs for me to be positive about this team.

What’s next, you may ask? Well, for me, I am going to repair my broken heart, and try to do some relaxation techniques. My heart, mind, and soul need a break – and I am sure yours do too. With that being said, thank you for reading my depressing, and dark story. I am sure it was painful to read, but did I not warn you in the introduction?
