Kansas City Chiefs: Head coach opportunities for KC assistants

Kansas City Chiefs: Coaching Carousel Opportunities
Chicago Bears
It came as no surprise that the Chicago Bears fired John Fox. For the Kansas City Chiefs, this seems like a team that will likely come after some assistant coaches. Ryan Pace is going to look for someone almost exactly opposite of Fox to take over this team.
The Bears have a lot to offer an incoming head coach. They just drafted their quarterback of the future, have plenty of defensive talent, and even some young offensive playmakers. That’s a solid base to start building with.
Matt Nagy: Combining a young offensive coordinator with a young quarterback is the new trendy thing in the NFL. That should make Matt Nagy a top target of the Bears as they want someone who will help Mitchell Trubisky develop. This looks like an ideal match.
Dave Toub: Truth be told, I think that this is actually Dave Toub’s best opportunity at a head coaching gig. The Chicago leadership already knows him, and the fan base has fond memories. Toub would be welcomed by the Bears, and that takes pressure off the leadership. Keep an eye on this one.
