PATRICK MAHOMES. A-. . .

All right, let’s just get to what you’re all reading this article for. I’m giving Patrick Mahomes an A- because he had one hell of a debut.

Sure, he didn’t throw any touchdown passes, but did you see some of those throws? Humans shouldn’t be able to complete passes like that. Insane.

Mahomes completed 22 of 35 passes for 284 yards and had one interception. The interception was a bad throw, but fans know that’s something the Texas Tech product will do frequently in his first few years. He’s just the kind of quarterback who’s going to take those type of shots down the field.

Overall, there was a ton to like about Mahomes in his NFL debut. He had a nice performance even while being surrounded by backups and facing what used to be a pretty good Denver defense. Mahomes even led the Chiefs down the field for his first ever comeback win.

It was just one start, but boy was that a fun game to watch.
