WEST VIRGINIA

If there is one away game on the schedule for the Jayhawks, that is considered to toughest – insert Morgantown, West Virginia. This is a court the Jayhawks tend to struggle on the most. Although, it is nothing like Allen Fieldhouse, let me tell you.

The Mountaineers stand as the toughest threat for the Jayhawks. Their press defense, and head coach Bob Huggins create a very tough team for the Jayhawks to face. The Mountaineers are never a fun team to face in March, and the Jayhawks have the unworthy pleasure to face them twice in one season, at the least.

Their press increases the number of turnovers, and stretches out the basketball court, in favor of the Mountaineers. When the court is dominated with turnovers, the Mountaineers most likely will come out on top.

The Mountaineers are equipped for success again this season, as are the Kansas Jayhawks. The competition between West Virginia, and Kansas, will be worth the watch.
