Fourteen is the number hidden in the back of the minds of the Kansas basketball program, and the fans that follow.

The Kansas basketball team owns the opportunity to create a new NCAA record for most consecutive conference titles within the history of college basketball.

For Bill Self, and the Jayhawks basketball team, history lies right in front of their eyes. The Jayhawks are one conference schedule away from 14 straight titles in the Big 12. If this were to happen, the Jayhawks will own the top spot in history, and surpass the great John Wooden, and the UCLA Bruins previous record of 13 straight.

The Big 12 is a strong conference with plenty of tough teams. So who poses the biggest threat? Let’s take a look…
