GOOD: ALEX SMITH
We got a glimpse of the Alex Smith we all grew to love during the 5-0 run early this season and it was glorious. Smith threw for 304 yards and a touchdown and had some really big throws in this one.
Here’s a list of some of the tremendous throws Smith made on Sunday:
- That insane laser he threw to Tyreek Hill in the second quarter that went for 52 yards
- Touchdown throw to Travis Kelce
- Big conversion to Orson Charles that put the Chiefs in a first and goal situation
Not to mention that Smith had a big run on third down when it looked like he would be sacked for sure. He snuck out of two defenders’ grasp and ran for the first down marker, which was impressive.
Alex Smith needed just 262 yards passing today to hit 4,000 on the season. He's 6 of 9 for 105 yards and a TD right now. The second quarter just started.

Nice.
This could have been Smith’s final regular season game at Arrowhead as a member of the Chiefs, so it was nice to see him perform as well as he did. He also passed the 4,000 yard mark for the first time in his 13 year long career.
Way to go, Alex!
