During the holiday season, numerous wish lists are sent in, hoping for new belongings to fulfill your needs. For Kansas City Chiefs fans, the wish lists are probably the exact same.

Christmas is here. It’s time to wish for a new bike, or a new set of tools, along everything else you possibly can wish for. Chiefs fans, however, are on their knees hoping for something new this season to wrap the year up – things that do not happen often in Kansas City.

The Chiefs find themselves closer to the playoffs. A win against the Miami Dolphins would automatically clinch a spot in the NFL playoffs. From here, lies a wish list. A wish list that asks for scenarios for this season, and the next in favor of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wish #1 – Super Bowl Appearance

  • Whoa Kyle, you are starting this off with a ginormous wish. Yeah, I know, but the saying “Go big or go home” suits perfectly right now. Wouldn’t a Super Bowl appearance be incredible?

“The Kansas City Chiefs have shocked the world, and made their way to the Super Bowl.” Isn’t that fun? Don’t you also crave this?

In order to make the playoffs, the Chiefs have to get past the New England Patriots, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Flashing back to week one, the Chiefs took care of business in Foxboro. Although the Chiefs lost to the Steelers in week six, they still put up a fight. Despite playing an awful game, the Chiefs still had a chance to win it at the end of the game.

The odds seem small, but in all actuality – the odds are not small at all. Sure, the Chiefs had an ugly drought this season, but what about weeks one through five? The Chiefs showed glimpses, and they teased us with their winning ways.

So, to wrap this wish up, the Chiefs may not make it this season. If they can keep the heart of the football team in Kansas City for a few more seasons, a trip to the Super Bowl may not be too far away.

    Do your thing, Santa Claus.
